Colin and I would like to announce and welcome April Durrer as the Novice Rep team Manager.
The Team Manager is a central figure in creating the flow of communication – not only within the team (players, parents and coaches), but between the team and all support systems such as the Minor Hockey Association, Convenors, League Managers, other teams, referees and officials.
April brings great organization and communication skills that will serve our team well as we move through the year. Please join us in congratulating April, and watch for a summary of the many tasks she will be coordinating.
By taking on the operational aspects of the team, the manager enables the coaches to focus on player development and on-ice instruction to provide the players with rewarding hockey experiences.
There are plenty of roles for any/all parents to assist with. We will be reviewing some of these areas during our Friday meeting.
