St George Midget Local League # 2 capped off an impressive
playoff run meeting Ayr in the Grand River Local League B Division Finals. The
team got off to a rough start in the ten (10) game round robin playoff going
0-3 but rallied to finish with a 6-4 record to finish in second place.
They qualified for the Grand River Local League B Playoff Finals against Ayr. The best 3 series started on Wednesday March 22 in St George where the host team lost a close hard fought battle 3-2. The second game was Monday March 27 in Ayr and once again a close game but St George came up short losing 3-0. Overall a great playoff year and caps off a good overall season.
