37 years, 56 teams, 102 Games!
This weekend October 18-20th St George Minor Hockey is hosting our annual Jack Tolhurst Memorial Rep Tournament.

This tournament is named in honour of the late Jack Tolhurst who was a legendary long-time coach, executive member, league president, an OMHA contact, and a very dedicated volunteer of St George Minor Hockey for many years.

The tournament has grown over the years and this year is no exception sitting at 56 teams. Some parents in attendance have actually played in this exact tournament when they were younger and you will be able see the pride and excitement in their eyes watching their own child take the ice.

There will be over 100 games played and more than 1000 players and families will be walking through the arenas.  To say it will be a busy weekend is an understatement.  A tournament of this size would not be the success that it is without the volunteers – families, friends, and players.  A big thank-you to all the people who behind the scenes planned and organized the tournament and to everyone who will be spending countless hours at the arena all weekend helping with registrations and time keeping. Without all your hard work this tournament wouldn’t be possible.

If you are still able to spare a few hours to help over the weekend please reach out to one of the executive members.

We encourage our hockey families to come and support our teams that are participating in the tournament and watch some great hockey!
