Earl Gaukel Tournament Great Success
The Earl Gaukel Memorial Local League tournament finished up Sunday after a weekend of great hockey. Once again we hosted an exceptional tournament having 32 teams playing 57 games.
St George teams had a great showing with all three teams Peewee, Bantam and Midget all making the semi finals on Sunday morning. Something that hasn't happened in a long long time in any of our tournaments. Thanks to Jen Koops and all the volunteers making it a very successful weekend. The exclamation mark was having members of the Gaukel family participating in the trophy and medal presentation after each championship game. A great tribute to a great legend Earl Gaukel !

Midget Champions: East Gwillimbury Finalist : Newcastle
