Hello St. George Minor Hockey Families!
Congratulations! We are now well into the regular season and
the successes on and off the ice are a testament to the hard work from everyone
in the association –
keep up the good work! It is amazing to watch the progress of all the players, especially our beginners and IP’s. Some started in October needing skating assistance and are now skating around the ice, passing and shooting pucks.
Last weekend we had 5 teams participating in tournaments, home and away, and the stories of the wins, shut outs and levels of achievement was exciting! Our home tournament was a great success with our Peewee, Bantam and Midget teams ending up at the top of their groupings. The Bantams fought their way to the finals but fell just short. Good Luck to our teams as they head off to tournaments in the next couple of weeks!
The end of the Regular season is quickly approaching! All teams must have their games played by December 24th; this also applies to the local league teams. We are working hard to get as many practices in for each team as we juggle the ice time for games and tournaments.
Schedules for playoffs will be posted as soon as they are received, usually last week of December. We ask for your patience as we resolve all schedule conflicts in order of priority.
The holiday season is a time for family, friends and celebration, so have fun cheering on your favorite General!
