Thank you for a great start to this year, it was so nice to
see smiling happy hockey players this week and we remain hopeful that we can
keep following safety protocols and keep playing hockey.
Although we are still in the first week and a few groups still have to hit the ice, the support and patience you have shown has been greatly appreciated.
Ice times are starting to be posted to the website, keep an eye for your current groups schedule, which will remain your group for the next week or two. Starting today the County has changed the flood times so players will be going on the ice AT your ice time, instead of the 10 minutes after that we are all used to. If you are unable to attend, ensure that you notify your coach, indicating the reason, for tracking purposes.
We are looking for a volunteer(s) from each team to assist with the pre-screening table, please let us know if you are able to help.
One of the biggest concerns brought forward, has been the amount of paperwork that is being generated and the Executive acknowledges that this is not sustainable, we are looking at options for both parent and player screening and will be rolling something out in the near future, to address this. In the meantime, when coming to the arena, players require a completed OFH_Health_Screening_Questionaire_-_Shortened.pdf and parts require a completed Brant_County_Screeening_Checklist-1.pdf.
Just a reminder fees are due October 15th.
