Important Message - Proof of Vaccination (OMHA/BCHU)
Late last week I sent out an email including information around the OMHA and their vaccination mandate requirement for all eligible participants, coaches and volunteers. Over the weekend the OMHA met again to discuss and review these policies and in the end, they have reaffirmed the original requirements around vaccinations.  Coaches, volunteers, and players 12+ are to be considered fully vaccinated on November 1, 2021. More information will be provided with our procedure around validations at a later date.

In addition, earlier today Brant County sent out their policies around visiting any County of Brant Community Centers and proof of full vaccination will be required as of September 22, 2021.

If you have questions or concerns around these polices please reach out to the OMHA and/or BCHU.  Questions or concerns around player, coach or volunteer involvement can be directed to me, Katie Vallee via this email - [email protected]

The Executive understands that these announcements can affect a lot of families on a variety of levels.  We want to reassure you we are here to support our players and families in the best way possible.

We accept that some of these requirements may not be able to be fulfilled by all members and recognize that some choices may need to be made. If families are not able to meet the requirements of these mandates set by OMHA and BCHU we will accept requests of withdrawal from our program with a full refund via cheque until October 1st, 2021.  If requests are made after October 1st, 2021 a prorated refund will be issued based on our constitution guidelines.

We truly appreciate how understanding and flexible everyone has been over these last few weeks while we navigated through some unknowns, but our number one priority has always been to get our players safely on the ice.

Thank you for your continued support.
