Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the Province of Ontario has reduced capacity at indoor recreational facilities, however our facilities remain open.
As of Sunday, December 19, 2021, spectators will no longer be able to consume food and drinks within the County’s Community Centres. Masks must remain on at all times. It is especially important for everyone to wear a well-fitted mask while indoors.
What does this mean for spectators?
- All food and drink must be consumed outside of the building.
- Vending machines are available for drinks to go.
- The concession stands are closed.
Players/participants will be able to consume water/sports drink while on the playing surface.
If you have any meetings booked at our facilities, the capacity of the space has been reduced to 50%, so please check with facility booking staff if the space you have booked will meet your needs.
Please also note that no social activities will be able to occur in dressing rooms such as pizza after the game. Beverages are not to be consumed in dressing rooms and patrons are asked to vacate the dressing rooms as quickly as possible upon completion of their rental.
We also remind you that as of Monday, Dec. 20 all participants aged 12-17 are now required to provide proof-of-vaccination to enter the facility. Also as of January 2nd, 2022 you will need to be able to present a valid QR Code of vaccination to enter the facility.
Thank you for your cooperation as we navigate through the ever-changing legislative requirements.
